  • Post-hospitalisation home nursing (usually 30–60 days after discharge)

How to Claim Insurance for Home Care

Inform your insurer before service begins

Call your insurance company and ask about "domiciliary hospitalisation" or "post-hospitalisation home nursing" coverage under your policy.

Get a prescription from your doctor

A letter from your treating doctor recommending home nursing is usually required by insurers for claims.

We provide all required documentation

Prashi Care will issue: GST-compliant invoices, nurse credentials and registration numbers, daily care notes and vitals records, and a service summary letter.

Submit the claim to your insurer

Submit all documents to your insurer. Reimbursement timelines vary by company — typically 7–21 working days after claim submission.

We assist with follow-up queries

If your insurer needs clarification or additional documents, reach out to us and we'll provide them promptly.

For new patients, we collect payment for the first day in advance. After that, billing is done daily, weekly, or as per the agreed package schedule.

Yes. We provide fully itemised, GST-compliant invoices listing nursing charges, equipment rental, and any consumables — suitable for all insurance claims.

You can cancel with at least 4 hours' notice for a full refund of same-day advance payments. For multi-day packages, unused days are refunded proportionally.

No. The initial consultation and care assessment are completely free. You only pay once you confirm the service.

Yes. Patients requiring care for 15+ days receive a 10% discount. Monthly packages receive up to 15% off. Contact us to discuss long-term care pricing.
